How to Make Cupcake Candle Frosting
To make cupcake candle frosting, you will need the following ingredients:
1 cup of soy wax flakes
1/4 cup of coconut oil
1/4 cup of shea butter
1 tsp of vanilla extract
Food coloring (optional)
Here are the steps to make the cupcake candle frosting:
Melt the soy wax flakes in a double boiler over medium heat. Stir occasionally until fully melted.
Add the coconut oil and shea butter to the melted soy wax and stir until fully melted and combined.
Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
Add the vanilla extract and stir until fully combined.
If you want to add color to your frosting, mix in a few drops of food coloring until you reach your desired shade.
Let the mixture cool until it reaches a frosting-like consistency. You can speed up the cooling process by placing the mixture in the fridge for a few minutes, but be careful not to let it harden completely.
Once the mixture has cooled and thickened, transfer it to a piping bag with a star-shaped tip and pipe it onto the top of your cupcake candle.
Let the frosting harden completely before using the candle.
Note: Be careful when working with hot wax, and make sure to follow all safety precautions.
