Apple Pie Candles

 Crossroads scented candles are made with a very clean burning, blended paraffin wax which allows us to add the maximum amount of fragrance. Each candle is poured in our factory in Bucyrus, Ohio. We are very proud that 100% of all materials in our candles are made in the USA.

Our apple pie candles are highly scented with the amazing fragrance you would expect to smell when staring at a fresh baked pie. These large pie candles have a colored base, the perfect crust, and delicious topping. We hand craft these apple scented pie candles using a blend of paraffin waxes. Our scented candles make a unique house warming gift or a can be used as the centerpiece on a dessert table. Resist the urge to eat these scrumptious looking candle pies though, you might bend your fork. We assemble the 9 inch pies in a foil pan which should be placed on heat resistant surface when burning to protect your table surfaces from heat damage. We put 4 wicks into these for a uniform burn.

I am extremely new and very much an amateur at making candles, especially hand molded candles like this!  If you have any suggestions or comments please I'd love to read them!  I have already learned that I need to put something on my table because wax is not so fun to clean up after!!!  I used paraffin wax for the hand molded crusts and a para-soy blend for the main candle and the wax "apples."  Also gel wax for the glaze so it adds a realistic touch to the top.  I used just the tiniest hint of cinnamon to make the crust look realistic.

Our glass jars have a contemporary style that fits perfectly with any home decor. Each jar is filled with 9 oz of our soy beeswax blend which is made with US grown soy wax, and unbleached yellow beeswax. We use only pure cotton wicks, and a blend of essential and fragrance oils to create our candles. Our fragrance oils are phthalate free, and are made with plant extracts.
