Handcrafted candles from Fragrant Jewels are made from all-natural ingredients and contain hidden jewelry treasures. There are several scents available, including Secret Garden, vanilla coconut et al. . The company's proprietary coconut wax blend gives their candles a cleaner burn. Made in USA, the candles are phthalate and paraben-free. Candle and bath bomb gift sets are available. The type of jewelry in candles is usually rings, although the Zodiac Collection features candles with necklaces.

So, I've never tried candle making before, but I finally decided to offer it a go. However, "normal" candles seem so boring, and you'll get them almost anywhere nowadays. To put a spin on the classic candle, i made a decision to cover a surprise inside, making it an ideal gift... And so, the hidden treasure candle was born! I hid a necklace in each of my candles (wrapped in tin foil to guard it), therefore the recipient would get not only a stunning candle, but also a little something else, making the candle that far more exciting!

Since this was my first time making a candle, I can vouch for this being a fun beginners project, and it's a great way to recycle old glasses, candles and even jewelry you would like to expire to someone else! I think this is often such a fun gift, and it really motivates the recipient to truly burn the candle, instead of shoving it within the back of the cabinet in case the lights go out!

Start by turning over your candle. You should see alittle metal piece at rock bottom , holding the wick in situ . Pull on this, and your wick should come right out.

Next, cut up your candle using your knife. I found the simplest thanks to catch on to melt easily is that if you create "candle shavings" by running the blade along the candle, instead of actually cutting it up into chunks.

Put the wax in your mug, and put it in the microwave. Put it certain about 30 seconds at a time, and stir it after each 30 seconds using your popsicle stick. This could take a while, depending on how you cut your wax up, but you should start seeing some liquid wax form after a little while!

Once there's some liquid wax, use your popsicle stick with put some at rock bottom of your glass container and place your wick on top. This should hold it in place for now.

Pour a number of your wax into the container, taking care to stay your wick standing up straight. Pour in until the purpose where you would like to put your jewelry - high if the candle is for somebody with little patience, or lower down for somebody who burns candles a lot.Be unreasonably excited about the patch of wax that spilled but now seems like a ghost close to angrily throw a baby.

Use two Popsicle sticks to carry up your wick while the wax cools. Best ring candles shouldn't be burned for quite four hours at a time. It is recommended that they burned for four hours, then extinguished and let cool for 2 hours before relighting. Always burn candles well faraway from drafts, other heat sources, anything flammable and out of reach of youngsters and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
